What exactly do I do?
It’s hard for me to define all of the ways I can help you solve a problem, meet your objectives, or grow your business or organization. The best of what I offer is a culmination of my years of experience as an educator, clinical social worker, business owner, digital dabbler, competitive athlete, speaker, writer and author.
I’m open to any conversation about how we might work together, but I’m best poised to help you with small business development; diversity and inclusion consultations; freelance writing; website development consultations; marketing, sales and planning for LGBTQ weddings; and leadership development.
In addition to individual consultations, I work with and speak to small and large groups. From national industry conferences to regional associations; from secondary school classes to undergraduate and graduate level courses; from non-profit leadership groups to corporate employee groups.
How does this work?
You may have noticed that the services I offer are highly customized to meet your needs. I generally offer contracts on an hourly or flat rate basis, depending on the scope of work and our objectives. And, yes, I do offer pro bono consultations and mentoring support so you can ask me about that, too.
Why “Made By Kathryn?”
My namesake — my beloved grandmother — Kathryn Phillips created clothes, hats and more for her customers, friends and family. She poured care and consideration into every piece she made, and attached her custom “Kathryn: ORIGINAL” tag to each of her creations.
I may not specialize in haberdashery as my grandmother did, but I am proud to carry on her legacy of serving my communities through care, creativity, and inspired results.
